Absolutely loved the pics of your adventures with H. P. Lovecraft. I would have so loved to have seen the manuscript for At The Mountains Of Madness. Wow!!!! Do they have all his manuscripts there? My new novel coming out in January is loosely tied into his The Shadow Over Innsmouth book. Once all this Covid madness is over, I am going to try plan a trip that way...
They don't have *all* of them, but they have a staggering amount, and much of the classics. They also have tons of letters and correspondence, including with Robert Bloch, Robert E. Howard, Farnsworth Wright, E Hoffmann Price, etc.
I think of Forrest Galante as an adventurer. The guy who hunts fir nearly extinct animals. I have his book. I should read it!
Great point.
I really appreciate you giving a shoutout to The Final Gate. That was fun to work on, and Wes is a great writer.
Cheers.

Super cool. I will definitely have to try check it out. Once the world stops being insane, of course.
I'll just go ahead and be THAT guy: if I am reading the inscription correctly, that's the grave of HPL's father. Still jealous you got see it.
And now I can see that's a family plot/marker. My bad.
Yep, family plot.
Wonder if they're all stacked on top of each other...
Nah, spread out a little bit, with the big stone marker and then little individual stones for each.
Great adventures! I’d love to visit those Lovecraft sites in Providence!
