“So this is Christmas…” — John Lennon Good morning. My name is Brian Keene and this is the 264th issue of Letters From the Labyrinth — a weekly newsletter for fans of my work. Previous issues can be found here. If you’d like to leave a comment, use that link. I was really happy to see so many comments on last week’s newsletter. I’ve replied to them all. As we head into 2022, I intend to be using social media less and less. This newsletter (and my website) will become my primary means of communication, so the comments section is a good way to do that.
Sounds like you had a great time. We have seven adopted cats that we rescued so know where you are coming from. The lego diorama was very cool, your son did a great job. Happy Holidays
Brian, you are an inspiration, and not only for your literary drive. Your compassion for people and critters is probably what marks you most in my memory. I've told so many people I know that the horror writers are among the most sensitive individuals – though they hide it – in our world. It's as if the injustices and the evil of the world trouble them so much that they have to expiate it in text. I'll see you in April at that conference in VA if there's any room left. I'm starting to miss the Horrorfind vibe.
Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas and we’re able to spend some time with Dave.

Merry Christmas, Brian! Love the Terminal Lego scene.
Hope it all turned out to be as great a Christmas as it sounds like you had.

Merry Christmas, Brian! Hope 2022 is good to you and yours.
So... when do we get the TERMINAL Lego Movie? ;)

Merry Christmas to you and all of your family. Also, the Lego scene was the coolest Christmas gift ever.
