Question are novellas still a thing today? I wrote the first one We drink Your Blood set in the isolated dying town of Ravenwood in the Appalachian mountains where Ravenwood is besieged by a group of Strigoi called the Sanguine Saints. Only 5 people stand between the threat and the town. And I'm currently working on the sequel Killers With A Cross.

Novellas are VERY popular right now among indie publishing. Less so with mainstream pubs, but there are exceptions.

I am so looking forward to Dead But Dreaming so it's nice to have my interest in it confirmed by someone who's taste in books usually agrees with mine. I can't wait!

Edit: I forgot to mention that my interest in Dead But Dreaming is also because I've been a fan of Phillip K Dick for a long time. Since I was a teenager and I'm now 60. My goodness I'm getting old.

I'm currently reading Entombed for the first time, I'm almost done with it (Deadite version on ebook). To be honest, it's OK. Not my favorite, but still very fast-paced like most of your other books. My favorite of yours will always be what I started with back in the summer of 2022, Dark Hollow 😊 I will probably reread that book before I read the Labyrinth series. Dark Hollow made you one of my 3 favorite authors 😊 (my other 2 favorites are King, and an author named Darren Shan)

Adjacent to the beginning of this post, Black Fly Season by Giles Blunt is a wonderful novel. Thank you for everything else you do, Mr. Keene.
