[Letters From the Labyrinth] Official Brian Keene Newsletter

Hi. I'm Brian Keene, and this is the 144th issue of Letters From the Labyrinth -- a weekly newsletter for fans of my work. Previous issues are archived here.
Had to take some time off this week due to family obligations, but still managed to get a lot of work done.
Wrapped up a secret project which I believe you'll be finding out about this coming week. I'm going through the copy-edits on it today. I also worked on the final draft of my collaboration with Bev Vincent. And I began collecting and counting the jury votes for next months Splatterpunk Awards.
This coming week is going to be insanely busy. Signature sheets for the secret project mentioned above (which again, you should find out about this week if you pay attention to BrianKeene.com). My next episode of THOR is due on the 15th, which means I need to buzz through that. Want to continue finishing up that collaboration with Bev Vincent. And a novella I mentioned recently on my website -- a team-up between my two occult detective characters (Levi Stoltzfus and Don Bloom) -- is due end of the month, so I need to focus on that immediately after THOR.
And then, hurtling toward me like a freight train, I'm back on the road again. Witness:
August 2 – 4

Doubletree By Hilton
50 Kingsmill Road

August 16 – 17

So, yeah. It's going to be a busy two months...

There should be an image above, but Mailchimp is acting squirrely today. If you can see the image, it is related to that secret project. It will be announced this week. Possibly tomorrow. I'm not allowed to say anything more about it. For example, I can't tell you to keep on eye on the Night Worms Book Club. And, for example, I'm not allowed to say you should also keep an eye on Thunderstorm Books.
But I can remind you to check BrianKeene.com.
Speaking of Thunderstorm Books, a reminder that I wrote the Afterword for their latest -- Richard Chizmar's THE VAULT. While the limited edition hardcover is sold out, Thunderstorm still has copies of the paperback in stock. Click here to get one.

STEVE GERBER: CONVERSATIONS was easily my most anticipated book of 2019, and so far, it hasn’t disappointed. Admittedly, it’s for a specialized audience — fans of Gerber, fans of Bronze Age comics, comic historians and academics, and writers who are interested in learning more about one of the best who ever walked among us — but if you’re among that audience, it’s fantastic and I highly recommend it. Click here for paperback and Kindle.
