Good morning. I'm Brian Keene and this is the 209th issue of Letters From the Labyrinth, a weekly newsletter for fans of my work. Previous issues are archived here. You're getting this week's edition a little later than normal. Normally, I either type it up on Saturday, or very early Sunday morning. But I spent most of yesterday working on the top secret thing I've codenamed Project Castle, and writing dialogue for one of my favorite literary antagonists of all time. I've been sick for much of the week before, so yesterday was my first full work day. I'm still only operating at about 80% power but that's good enough for me. Mary made me delicious recuperative teas, and both of my ex-wives called to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything, and both of my sons checked in as well.
