Glad your kitties will be finding new homes. Also glad your own girl is getting used to you and the household. You made me tear up reading about Jay. It was beautiful, but sad. He was my first friend along with Armand because of Scares. He was an incredibly nice guy and gave me a pick up almost every day on Facebook with his sincere religious fervor. He will be missed.
He will be missed, for sure, Lucille. I've talked to Armand and we're going to do a celebration of his work and life at Scares AuthorCon II, so I hope you can join us. <3
Thanks for another great newsletter. So glad Josie has found her forever home and has some of her babies left to live with. Sorry for your loss of yet another good friend. Centralia PA - While growing up in Philly my first 40 years, i remember seeing about the fires on TV in the 1970s/80s...and recently saw a program that they're still burning because of the coal...that's incredible. Be careful while visiting!
I know you're probably sick of unsolicited advice about the cat. But, I'm a veterinarian, and just want to say that the chance of passing parasites via the litter box is almost zero. Common parasites need to spend time in the soil to enter their infective stage, so as long as the litter box is getting scooped daily and Josie Wales has been treated for fleas, you're fine. Also, you are awesome for taking care of these kitties. And if you can't get Josie to the vet, Pyrantal Pamoate suspension is available at farm supply places (for roundworms, hookworms, and pinworms) and Bayer / Elanco dewormer with Praziquantel is over an over the counter medication that treats tapeworms.
Thanks, Whitney! That's good to know! Yeah, she's flea free. Her kittens had roundworms, so I'm guessing she has those, too? Her appointment is this Thursday, so she'll be all better after that. ;)

I am already locked in for a stay at the Hilton. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.
Your newsletter is always a good way to start my Sunday before work. Thanks.
Oh how I miss Killercon! See all our peeps.
