I've still got our tickets to the last Motorhead concert. Untorn - because a couple of weeks before, Lemmy passed. We went along anyway, and the local hotel was full of metalheads, who then all pilgrimaged into Hammersmith (his home turf, and my hubby's too) and spent some time. Bottles of Jack were left, flowers, guitar picks.

A few months before that, my brother-in-law had bumped into Lemmy himself while in the local opticians. We have a photo to prove it πŸ˜‚

Life's a funny thing. Virtual hugs ❀️🀘🏻

Hey Brian, thanks for the great write up of the concern and the pics of you and your boy. And hey, you're not alone: I always talk to my cats and my dead husband Chris LOL. Chris gets to still hear all about my lousy workday, and everything else I can rant about. I assume those on the other side, when they're heard enough, can just put us on "mute!" LOL Hang in there, we're not immortal, but we're not done yet here :)

Always feel free to vent brother, you’ve been a pillar more than you fair share of times.

I've seen Dinosaur Jr several times, mostly club gigs, and they are one of the loudest live bands out there!

Those concert sets look incredible. Music is one of the greatest ways to generate such emotions, and I have cried at a few in my life and while singing in the church choir. 🀘🏼

Vent on, sir, we’re listening (and won’t try to fix it all instead).

Great review. I love the Flaming Lips. I know I saw Dinosaur Jr in the late 80s or early 90s in Western MA, but can't say I really remember the show. I knew nothing about Weezer live though, and the first song I think of is still Undone, so that part was eye opening. Glad you and your son had a good time!
